Why do we charge for certification?
Because your input is key to continuing to drive change. The certification fee allows us to sustain our work and strengthen the impact of B Corps™, ensuring that companies continue to be a force for good.
Fee Types
Application Fee
To begin the verification stage, companies must pay a one-time fee, calculated according to their annual turnover. This amount is non-refundable and is not deducted from the Annual Certification Fee.
This Application Fee is valid only for companies that follow the standard certification and recertification process. Large companies and multinationals are not required to pay it.
Annual Fee of
Certification
When certifying as a B Company, the company pays an annual fee based on its turnover for the last fiscal year.
This works as a membership and must be renewed every year in the same month in which the initial certification was obtained. The same applies for the recertification process.
Company Fee
B Pending
Companies applying for B Company Pending™ status will be charged a fee of. US$500 + VAT.
At Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and MexicoThis payment is a one-time payment and covers a 12-month period.
At Belize, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.the fee is US$500 + VAT per year and is payable for a total of 2 years.
The Fee of Application and the Fee Annual Certification Certifications do not correspond to the status of Company B Pending.
