Founded in 2012 by Juan Pablo Larenas, Gonzalo Muñoz, María Emilia Correa and Pedro Tarak, Sistema B became B Lab's first global partner outside the United States. Today, it is part of the B Global Network, which brings together organizations from six continents with the mission of transforming the economy for the common good.
Sistema B's purpose is to inspire companies to become agents of change. To this end, it offers tools and programs to support them in the transition to becoming better companies, developing Impact Business Models, managing their value chain and obtaining the B Corp certification.
Sistema B was born with a systemic approach: it works for a change in the economy, collaborating with public authorities, universities, opinion leaders, investors and other key actors to accelerate the transition to a more inclusive, equitable and regenerative system for all people and the planet.
