  • Alejo Cantón

    Chairman of the Board. Alejo holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Anderson School at UCLA (Los Angeles, USA), and a B.A. in Quantitative Economics and International Relations from Tufts University (Massachusetts, USA).

    He founded Vistage Argentina in 2000, a company he currently presides and which has more than 1,300 members nationwide. Cantón has positioned himself as a local reference specialized in leadership, motivation and training for the business community. In his professional beginnings he owned Mundos de Cine, an independent film distribution company, then he worked as a Financial Analyst at Buena Vista International (Burbank) and Santander Investment Securities (New York and Buenos Aires).

    Since 2016 he began to be part of the Board of Directors of Sistema B and the Empujar Program. He was President of Sistema B Argentina from 2017 to 2019.

  • Juan Pablo Larenas

    Co-founder of Sistema B. Social Entrepreneur and marathon runner out of necessity. Former Executive Director of B Lab Global and former Chief of Impact & Community Officer of Betterfly. He also co-founded Late! (www.late.cl) and Festival fiiS, both B Corps. In 2015, he was selected as an Ashoka Fellow, one of the most important networks of social entrepreneurs in the world, and in 2018, he was distinguished as Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

  • Karen Winekker

    Vice President Sistema B Paraguay. Specialised in regenerative business models, sustainable project lead and social entrepreneur. She is currently involved in various projects both in Latin America and the UK with focus on the development of a new economy and regenerative agriculture. She is director of the B Corp. Envaco, a company dedicated to the manufacture of corrugated cardboard packaging. In the past she was executive director of Talier, a social enterprise dedicated to innovation with cardboard to replace polluting materials. She holds a master’s degree in Regenerative Economics from Schumacher College (Devon, UK). Master’s in business administration - IAE Business School (Buenos Aires, Argentina). Marketing and Advertising engineer from the American University (Asunción, Paraguay).

  • Luana Ozemela

    Luana Ozemela has over 15 years of experience in social and economic development policy in the academic, private, and public sectors in three continents. She is the CEO of Development Impact Managers and Advisors (DIMA), providing consultancy services in the area of economic and social development in Qatar and Brazil. She graduated in Economics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2003. She then completed a Masters in Development Economics and Economic Policy Analysis from the University of Southampton in England and received a Doctorate degree in Labor Economics in 2011 from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. She is a former staff of the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington (DC), where she created the first program to support Afro-entrepreneurs and implemented a broad racial equity agenda at the institution, having participated in more than US$500 million in financial operations in more than 20 Latin American and Caribbean countries. She is currently on the board of several institutions, including the Brazilian Security Exchange Commission's Financial Innovation Laboratory and Brazilian Association of Development Banks (Plan 2030). Her mission is to increase the volume and effectiveness of investments aimed at the black population and make financial markets more inclusive.

  • Ángela María Camacho

    Has a bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia, where she took a graduate course in Telecommunications Law. As vice-president of Reputation and Public Affairs, she is the engine behind Newlink’s development of strategic solutions. During her career, she has created and directed diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs of corporate social responsibility in Latin America. She specializes in corporate and regulatory affairs and has an extensive career as a leader and agent of change in such multinational companies as Shell, British Petroleum, AT&T and Microsoft, where she headed the organization of legal and corporate affairs for Latin America and the Caribbean. Her passions are people, learning, and giving from the heart.

  • Silvia Torres Carbonell

    Director of the Entrepreneurship Center and professor of entrepreneurship and innovation in the master and executive programs of the IAE Business School. Startup angel investor. Member of Endeavor Patagonia's board of directors and Banco Itaú Foundation's advisory board. Founder and president of Ruta 40 Foundation, aimed at supporting education and development in rural areas along the Argentinian border. She worked as Buenos Aires Undersecretary of Creative Economy, Scientific and Entrepreneurial Development, and executive director and board member of Endeavor. Member of Sistema B Argentina's business council.

  • Ernesto Moreno

    Ernesto has been an impact entrepreneur since 2007 in several companies in Central America, the United States and the Caribbean. Is currently the founder and CEO of Yuxta Energy (Certified B Corp), a company that designs energy projects in the region with solutions that manage to decarbonize the economies, with a focus on energy efficiency, generation distributed with renewable energy sources and electric transportation.

  • Guillermo Quezada

    Administration and Finance Analyst. Commercial Engineer (UCN) and diploma in management of cooperatives and social and solidary economy (USACH). Of Aymara ethnicity, born, raised and educated in the region of Antofagasta, he has worked from the coast to the mountains, with grassroots organizations such as neighborhood councils, indigenous communities, fishermen's unions and various productive committees, on issues of entrepreneurship, project management and finance, always striving to contribute to the empowerment of its leaders and members.     Durante los últimos años, ha estado inmersa en el mercado voluntario de carbono en South Pole, donde ha tenido la oportunidad de desempeñarse como Especialista en Operaciones y Asistente Ejecutiva. Además de eso, ha enseñado inglés en línea desde hace 7 años, lo cual ha sido enriquecedor para ella.
